A 16th-century Flemish tapestry depicting the betrothal of Our Lady, two portraits of Philip II and III, and a curious representation showing how the Alcázar appeared before the reform of the roofs—as well as the old cathedral of Santa Mara, which was once located in the Alcázar's current tiny square—can all be found on the walls of the palace.
