The parish church of Santiago de Bembrive is a Catholic temple in the transitional Romanesque style, located in the parish of Santiago de Bembrive. It is one of the three Romanesque churches in Vigo, the other two being the Church of Santa María de Castrelos and the Church of San Salvador de Coruxo.
It was built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. It may be attributed to Master Rodrigo, according to an inscription dated around 1185, although another from 1223 is also preserved. The church has undergone several modifications throughout history.
It consists of a single nave and apse, semicircular on the inside and pentagonal on the outside. The nave is divided into sections of two transverse arches supported by semi-columns. The triumphal arch has a pointed directrix, as does the secondary arch, and both are supported on semi-columns. The presbytery is covered with a barrel vault, while the polygon in which the apse ends is covered with a shell vault. It has two side doors and on the main façade, with slightly pointed archivolts on jamb columns. It also conserves a varied repertoire of corbels.
