The church of San Jorge is a Christian temple in the Baroque style, the work of the architect Clemente Fernández Sarela. In 1975 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.
It is a temple with three naves, exuberantly decorated inside.
The façade is clearly influenced by Compostela, with gigantic columns, and its design was designed by the brilliant baroque architect Fernando de Casas Novoa.
A large rectangular opening presides over the composition, while the aletones recall the Jesuit origin of this architecture.
